Innovative tech-focused credit union service provider recognized by NACUSO
EAST LANSING, Mich. — Reseda Group, a wholly owned credit union service organization (CUSO) of MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), today received the 2023 New CUSO of the Year Award by the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO). The recognition, along with other CUSO of the Year Awards, was announced Wednesday during a special award presentation at the NACUSO Network Conference in Las Vegas.
“We are pleased to be honored as a New CUSO of the Year by a significant organization like NACUSO that understands the importance collaboration and innovation play in building a strong and vibrant credit union industry,” said April Clobes, president and CEO of Reseda Group and MSUFCU. “Reseda Group was created in 2021 with a focus on building better for members, and in just a few short years we are truly making a difference through our continued commitment to collaborate and invest in innovative technology and solutions that will help credit unions create a better member experience.”
Each year, NACUSO celebrates CUSOs striving to make a difference within the credit union industry through its prestigious CUSO of the Year Awards. The New CUSO of the Year category recognizes organizations established in the last five years. The NACUSO Selection Committee chose Reseda Group as a winner for its approach to helping credit unions by discovering and investing in innovative fintech solutions to help make sure best-in-class solutions are available to the industry.
“The way you have a quarterly call with the founders of your portfolio companies to share what works is a great example of collaboration,” NACUSO President and CEO Jack M. Antonini said on behalf of the selection committee. “Reseda is also helping your portfolio companies to connect to each of the core systems, to make it easier to implement a new credit union client, as well as sharing data among the CUSOs that Reseda has invested in to help each of them succeed is a fantastic example of creating value through collaboration.”
Reseda Group was nominated for the award by Doug Leighton, founding partner at Tahoma Advisors, which provides counsel to numerous fintech companies, credit unions, and community banks across the county.
